Very corporate

*My Praxis design has won and will be developed and executed!!

This is another design (done in school) for the corporate identity of Praxis. Praxis is something brand new, they want to be the new 'Erasmus' for project/internship abroad.

I decided to give them a very own visual language which was based on neutrality, unity, clarity and universality. Since it is a new brand and nobody knows yet about its existence, it was very important that the visual language would also spread the right message; a translation of Praxis' core values. With the visual language I made a dynamic logo and a variable identity. But you might just want to look for yourself! (click to view large!)

Very honest

Long time no see, been very busy though.
Anyway, this assignment is about 3 weeks old; we had to make a campaign for the open studio days at Sint Lucas Ghent (department graphic design). This project tries to show candidate students the soul of our department, by asking its students a very simple and pure question: "what does graphic design mean to you?" This project aims to trigger candidate students in a very honest way. Here's a poster, mailing and a presentation of the concept and implementation. All the fluorescent orange has been screen printed.

Very stressy

Past week we had a project week in studio; one week of intensive graphic design :-).
We started of the week with a little trip to Amsterdam and Rotterdam, where we visited some established graphic studios (Thonik, Studio Dumbar, Lava,..).
Back in Belgium we were asked to make a personal 16-page report/magazine about our trip.
In just two days and a half! (it had to be finished by friday) The magazine had to be from the viewpoint of an object we were asked to take along on our trip. My object was a dictaphone..
So I conceived my magazine around two terms: language and typography.

Very pure

For the end-jury of this year we were asked to develop a full visual identity, including stationary, and packaging for a flour-, coffee- and tea shop called Panisto. They strive to sell only pure products, carefully chosen by the owner of the shop. My work is all about that purity. I chose to make a simple, traditional brand image with and for the main products. Purity is a keyword throughout the whole corporate identity; I only used one (gray) color that goes along with two pure paper types, both unstained and uncoated. With traditional forms and a simple design, this stationary acts as one solid entity.

Brand image and product logos.
(Be sure to check it out in full screen mode!)

The stationary consists of two business cards, envelopes, a letterhead for multifunctional use and a greeting card.

I got nominated together with five others for this project, so maybe you'll be seeing some of my designs any time soon at Panisto, Evergem!

And for now I will be enjoying my three-month-holiday... :-))

Very red hot

Yesterday I had my jury for the Panisto corporate identity, it went pretty well I think..
But since I'm always rather optimistic, let's just await the results :-).

For now I'll post something I did about a month ago.
It's a brochure to promote the Graphic Design department of Sint Lucas (click to view large, double-click to view full screen)

Very lovely

It's been a while..

That's because I'm working hard on my jury, we have to make a corporate identity for a flour, tea and coffee shop.. But more about that soon.

Past weekend my lovely boyfriend exposed some digital drawings at 'kunstroute'. As a little gift I made him some business cards. I used one of his illustrations to make a stamp, and for text I used a standard typo stamp.

What do you think?
